A gold watch is one of the expensive items to be reported stolen following a house burglary.
A number of pieces of jewellery were pinched in a daylight burglary in Brymore Road, Canterbury.
Items stolen include a ladies' 18-carat-gold gold Clyda Paris watch, a white gold Omega watch with a blue face, and a collection of costume necklaces.
A commemorative gold oval badge marking 25 years of service at Lewisham hospital is also reported to have been taken.
Thought to have taken place between 9.30am and 10am on Thursday, May 16, police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Officers want to identify a 5ft 3 ins tall man who was seen in the area at the time. He is described as white, and of slim build.
He was reported as wearing a grey tracksuit and black footwear.
