Police raided two homes in Aylesham and seized what they believed to be a firearm during a drugs bust.

Officers carried out search warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act at houses in Ratling Road at 8pm last night.

They also seized substances which they believe to be illegal drugs.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.

The suspects, aged 28 and 23, remain in police custody.
