Professional foodies Simon King and Dave Myers – aka the Hairy Bikers – sampled some culinary delights of the area for their new BBC series.

They roared into Canterbury where they stopped off for sausage pastries at Tiny Tim’s Tearoom in St Margaret’s Street.

As part of their quest to find unique tastes of Kent, they also visited the National Fruit Collections at Brogdale where they were taken by the cob nuts.

“We are looking for something you only find in Kent which tastes fantastic,” said Dave.

The next series of The Hairy Bikers is due on our TV screens in the summer.
