Convicted murderer Foster Christian made a chilling 999 call claiming he'd been assaulted as his victims lay dying.
He admits 'using the knife' on those attacking him, two of whom, Simon Gorecki and Natasha Sadler-Ellis, he had fatally stabbed just minutes before making the call.
Today Christian, 54, was found guilty of two counts of murder and one count of wounding the with intent.
A violent struggle ensued after Christian turned on a tap in the kitchen causing the water temperature to change as Mr Gorecki showered.
During the row the mechanic stabbed Mr Gorecki five times - four of the wounds being to his back.
Ms Sadler-Ellis, who was the same height, had several wounds, one of which entered above her left eyebrow and “followed down” inside her lower jaw.
Christian also injured Ms Sadler-Ellis soldier son Connaugh Harris, and a 16-year-old boy.
He is due to be sentenced on Wednesday.
During the 999 call Christian is breathing heavily as he speaks to the operator and requests an ambulance.
He claims to have been attacked with beer cans, but later admits to using the knife.
Christian grinned as the first guilty verdict to murder was returned. He sat casually in the dock and showed no other reaction.
Friends and family of the victims hugged each other outside court.
