A road has been closed causing lengthy tailbacks for drivers as engineers work to fix a water leak.
The A28 Sturry Road in Canterbury is closed towards the city centre from the roundabout by Asda.
Temporary traffic lights at the junction with Old Park Avenue are also causing delays adding to the traffic while engineers from South East Water work carry out repairs.
The water company's incident map shows reports of four leaks in the area with three ongoing and one already repaired.
Travel provider One Network says the closure is expected to remain until Thursday (February 9).
Some drivers have reported getting stuck for up to an hour trying to get through.
Five Stagecoach bus services have been delayed as a result including the 6, 8, 8A, 8X and TRIANGLE.
The bus operator tweeted saying: "Due to works to repair a water main along Sturry Road, we are unable to stop at the Asda stop outside of Lidl heading into the city.
"This stop will be closed until Wednesday, February 8."
KCC Highways has warned drivers to expect delays in the area.
