A homeless man - convicted five years ago for flashing - is back in prison for failing to tell police where he lived.
Eritrean Yohannes Neguse, 35, was found guilty of indecent exposure in 2013 and then released from prison with orders to tell police where he was living.
But on six occasions he failed to comply with the orders - and was arrested in May in Canterbury when police officers thought he was behaving strangely.
Now Judge Catherine Brown has jailed him for 16 months after a jury convicted him of yet another breach.
She told Neguse, who was given the right to stay indefinitely, that there had been no further sex offences since the conviction in Leeds in 2013 for indecent exposure.
The judge told him: "You have numerous previous convictions for the same offence. You have no reasonable excuse for not doing so.”
The court heard that Neguse did not think it was fair he was convicted.
James Ross, defending, said Neguse is homeless.
But the judge told Neguse: “Whether or not you think you were fairly convicted is not to the point. You must comply with the law, like any other citizen.
"I make it very clear, that you remain subject to notification requirements which means you have to tell police where you are staying.
“If you don’t you will end up back before the courts. So I hope you will see sense for your benefit and society's benefit."
