A number of emergency vehicles have rushed to a university after a person was injured.
An ambulance, three fire engines and a "technical rescue team" were scrambled to Park Wood Road, on the University of Kent's Canterbury campus, this afternoon.
Ambulance service spokesman Richard Airey said: "I can confirm that we were called at approximately 1.10pm today to reports of a person in need of medical attention at the university.
"Our Hazardous Area Response Team attended briefly, they were stood down on arrival."
The patient has been take to the QEQM hospital in Margate, with injuries that are not thought to be serious.
The incident is thought to have taken place at the School of Physical Sciences' Ingram Building.
A fire service spokesman added: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 1.17pm today to assist South East Coast Ambulance Service at a premises in Park Wood Road, Canterbury."
The fire crews left the scene just before 2pm.
Police and the University of Kent have been approached for more information.
