CCTV images released after assault in underpass beneath Upper Bridge Street, Canterbury

Police have released a CCTV image of a man after an alleged assault in an underpass.

Officers were called to the underpass beneath Upper Bridge Street, Canterbury at 12.45am on Friday, August 30 following reports a man was punched and had fallen to the floor.

The victim sustained facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A police spokesperson said: “An investigation into the incident is ongoing and officers have issued images of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
