Investigations have begun into a fire which broke out at a block of flats in Herne Bay this morning.

Three fire crews were called to Queen Street at 1.40am and spent two hours tackling the blaze at the five storey flats.

A woman, in her 20s, was treated for smoke inhalation.

Fire crews say the blaze which started in a fifth floor storage cupboard is suspicious.
