It's ladies to the fore at Cricket Week

Hats galore will be on show today at the Canterbury Cricket Week ladies day.

While Kent take on Hampshire at the St Lawrence Ground in their latest County Championship fixture, off the field all eyes will be on the millinery creations.

The culmination of the day will be the judging of the hat competition followed by a parade of entrants.

The Band of the Brigade of the Gurkhas will provide musical entertainment during the lunch break and marquees will also be dotted around the boundary.

On Sunday, Kent play Glamorgan Dragons in the Pro40 one-day competition.

Admission is free to members throughout Cricket Week.

Tickets for non-members for the LV County Championship match with Hampshire, are £12 for adults, £10 for concessions (over 65s) and £6 for juniors.

Tickets for the Pro40 clash with Glamorgan are £15 for adults, £12 concessions and £8 for juniors.

Car parking at the ground for both matches is £10 per car.
