A Kent singer has been tipped for further success next year after earning a place on BBC Radio 1's Sound of 2022 list.
Canterbury sensation Mimi Webb, who previously lived in Gravesend, has had a meteoric rise, with her music being streamed hundreds of millions of times on various platforms.
She has also gone on to reach the top eight in the UK Singles Charts and had success with the release of her debut album.
The 21-year-old's bright future has seen her earn a spot on the female-dominated list from BBC Radio 1 which predicts artists' success going into the new year.
The Sound Of list, comprised of 10 upcoming artists, has previously included the likes of Adele, Stormzy, Billie Eilish and George Ezra.
This year's nominees were selected by a panel of 133 industry experts, including Elton John and Ed Sheeran.
Webb is joined by other stars including Baby Queen, PinkPantheress and Lola Young.
Her career started to take off during the pandemic where she was introduced into the world of TikTok by American influencer Charli D'Amelio whose video in 2020 starring her debut single, Before I Go, gained 85 million views.
The winner of BBC Radio 1's Sound of 2022 list will be announced in January.
