Canterbury boy arrested after knife, drugs and cash seized during stop and search

A knife, drugs and £1,000 cash have been seized during the arrest of a boy in the city centre.

The 17-year-old was taken in for questioning following a stop and search in St Peter’s Place, Canterbury.

Officers also seized four mobile phones during the arrest on Saturday, February 4.

The teenager, who lives in the city, is suspected of possessing cannabis, possessing heroin with intent to supply and having a knife in a public place.

He has been bailed until May 3.
