Firefighters have battled a large blaze that spread to two neighbouring properties.
The fire is believed to have started in a garage at a home in Field Avenue, Canterbury, at about 6pm last night.
Fire crews arrived at the scene shortly after 6.10pm, to find it had a "well developed fire" that had also begun to spread to the home and to a neighbouring property.
Using jets of water, firefighters quickly contained the blaze and extinguished it.
Police also attended.
A fire service spokesman said: "The two properties suffered heat damage and were cooled. Both properties were checked for hot spots.
"The cause of the fire isn't known at this time."
There were no reported injuries.
