Last-minute Christmas shoppers have been snapping up a clearance offer and dragging their trees to the till.
The B&Q in Sturry Road has seen Christmas tree sales rocket after starting a 1p deal two days ago.
The DIY giant has only two smaller-sized trees remaining in its Canterbury store.
It is believed more than 10 were bought from the store yesterday.
A B&Q spokesman said: “B&Q would like to see every Christmas tree find a loving home.
"As we’ve got closer to the big day, a small number of real trees have been offered for as little as 1p”.
