The family of a young man who died after crashing his car into a telegraph pole say he dreamed of becoming a full-time musician.
Laurie Hazrati, 22, died in hospital 10 days after his silver Renault Clio came off the road in Pean Hill near Blean.
Now his mum Delia and identical twin brother Mitchell have paid tribute to Laurie, who was described as the life and soul of the party.
He is also survived by his older sister Emily, 23.
Radiographer Delia, of Bennells Avenue, Whitstable, said: "He was just a typical 22-year-old.
"He liked to go out and have fun and was very popular with everyone. He liked to make people laugh.
"As a mother it is just the worst news you can ever receive. He was always surrounded by girls. He loved his girlfriend dearly.
"In the hospital we had so many people come and see him. I will always remember Mitchell and Laurie listening to music together.
"He was learning to play piano and was also talented on the guitar and the drums. He loved music. He would have done that full-time if he could."
The family moved to Whitstable four years ago from Dover, where Laurie and Mitchell both went to Dover Grammar School before heading off to university.
At the University of Winchester, Laurie met his girlfriend and became the events officer at the volleyball club, setting up an overseas tour.
Mitchell said: "He is my best friend – we did absolutely everything together.
"We played football together until secondary school, skateboarded and played a lot of tennis in Connaught Park.
"I could read him like a book and he could read me. We always had each other.
"He had so many friends come to the hospital from Winchester. They knew him really well.
"It just doesn't feel real. I don't think it has sunk in yet. It's just awful."
After he returned from Winchester, Laurie began work as a mental health nurse and also trained for his seaman card for P&O cruise liners.
The crash happened on Tuesday, May 21 and Laurie died in hospital on Saturday, June 1.
At his funeral, the family asked for donations to the Kent Air Ambulance and the Redwood Rescue and Rehome centre.
