Whitstable suffered a miserable day in Ryman League Division 1 South as they were crushed 7-1 at Leatherhead on Saturday.
Player-manager Mark Munday powered in a header from close range inside the first minute, only for it to be ruled out for offside.
The hosts took the lead almost immediately on the break but Munday thought he had scored again on seven minutes, only for the referee to disallow the goal for a push.
Whitstable's misfortune was compounded with three further goals for the Tanners before half-time and the hosts made it 5-0 straight after the restart.
Leatherhead made it 6-0 with a penalty and got a seventh 10 minutes from time.
The Oystermen finally got on the scoresheet when Gareth Cornhill, pictured, netted a late free-kick.
