An air ambulance was called after a young woman was hurt in a crash on the M2 between Sittingbourne and Faversham this afternoon.
The woman, in her 20s, suffered collarbone and leg injuries and was being treated at the scene.
It is reported the car she was in left the road and came to rest on the verge at about 3.30pm.
Paramedics and the police attended, but the road was not closed.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to the coastbound carriageway of the M2 near to junction 5 at 3.25pm to reports of an RTC.
"Officers and SECAMB are on scene. It appears one vehicle came off the carriageway and has come to rest on a verge. Injuries are unknown at this stage. The carriageway is still open at this time."
The air ambulance was stood down en route and the woman did not need further hospital treatment.
