A major road used by thousands each day is to be closed for the entirety of the weekend.
For the second weekend in a row, traffic will not be able to get in and out of Canterbury via the A28 at Wincheap.
Access under the rail bridge off the busy Wincheap Roundabout will be prohibited from 11pm Friday until 2am on Monday.
Vital repairs are being carried out on the frequently hit 115-year-old bridge, with steel girders being welded, strengthened and coated in protective paint.
The full weekend closure comes after the route was shut to motorists last Saturday.
After this weekend, the Wincheap pinch point - which is one of the most-used sections of road in the city - will close again on February 21.
For those heading into Canterbury from the Ashford direction, they are diverted onto the A2 at Thanington.
They are directed through to the turn-off for Bridge and Howletts Wild Animal Park, where they loop around onto the A2050, and then to New Dover Road in order to reach the city.
For motorists heading the other way, the diversion is vice-versa.
Bus routes are following the same diversion.
Two weeks ago, the bridge was given a much-needed facelift after engineers removed decades of grime, rust and graffiti from the ageing structure.
It now sports a fresh lick of pale green paint.
