A 47-year-old man has appeared in court accused of dressing up as a woman and molesting three females.
Prosecutors allege that Paul Reed, of Clement Close, Canterbury, sexually assaulted females aged 14, 16 and 20 in the city while dressed in women’s hat, coat and scarf.
Reed has been charged with three sex assaults and three counts of breaching the terms of sexual offences prevention order which bans him from possessing or wearing women’s clothes.
His solicitor Stuart Green’s application for bail at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court was rejected and Reed was remanded in custody until December 11.
