Man charged after Indian restaurant incident

A 26-year-old man from Herne Bay has been charged with racially aggravated common assault.

It follows an incident at the Shad restaurant in William Street in the town on April 24.

Matthew Kinch, of Victoria Park is due to appear at magistrates court on June 17.
