A man in his 70s has tragically died after suffering a "medical incident" in a car on a major road.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the incident on the A28 Island Road near Sarre, between Canterbury and Thanet, at about 11.30am.
They were joined at the scene by an air ambulance.
But the man, who is believed to have been driving the vehicle in which he was travelling, was sadly pronounced deceased.
The A28 was closed between Grove Ferry Hill in Upstreet and the Crown Inn in Sarre while the incident was dealt with, but has since reopened and traffic is believed to be flowing in the area.
Police say a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
