Man dies more than a month after Honda motorbike hit him in Faversham

A dog walker has died more than five weeks after being hit by a Honda motorbike in Faversham.

The 61-year-old local man was taken to the Royal London Hospital with a head injury after the crash, but died earlier today.

The man, who has not been named, was walking his dog on Whitstable Road, Faversham near the recreation ground on December 7, when he was struck by a Honda motorbike at around 9.20pm.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable David Holmes, said: ‘I would urge anyone with information about this collision, particularly in the moments leading up to it, to come forward and contact Kent Police.’

Witnesses who have not already come forward are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
