A man was found dead after concerns were raised for his welfare this morning.

Police were called to Spring Lane, Canterbury, at 8am, and the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officers confirmed his death is not being treated as suspicious.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “We were called following concern for a man at an address in Spring Lane, Canterbury shortly before 8am on Tuesday June 27.

“Officers attended and the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”

Members of the public reported seeing forensics at the property.
