A man was in intensive care in hospital after being injured in a swimming pool accident.It is thought the man hit his hit after diving at the Kingsmead leisure centre pool in Canterbury on Tuesday evening.

About 50 people were evacuated as staff treated the man, a 23-year-old South Korean, before paramedics arrived. Three ambulances and Kent Air Ambulance attended.

The man's condition was said to be poorly in Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
