Canterbury: Fire crews treat man in 80s after blaze in Soleshill Road, Shottenden

A man in his 80s was treated by firefighters after a blaze in his living room.

Crews raced to the home in Soleshill Road, Shottenden, yesterday afternoon.

They found the room well alight and treated the pensioner for smoke inhalation.

Two fire engines were sent to the scene just after 3.30pm.
