Man seriously hurt in attack outside Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury

A man was seriously hurt in an attack outside Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre.

Police rushed to The Friars in the city centre following reports of the assault at 9pm last night.

A 35-year-old man suffered serious injuries, but they are not described as life-threatening.

The injured man has since been discharged from hospital.
