A 12-year-old girl has been found safe and well after her disappearance sparked a large-scale search.
Olivia Sands was last seen in person in Barham, near Canterbury, at about 10am yesterday, with serious concerns raised for her welfare.
Kent Search and Rescue volunteers, sniffer dogs, police officers and specialist fire crews were among those scrambled to the village to search for Olivia.
Witnesses told how emergency workers scoured the banks of the Nailbourne river, with a helicopter joining the search overhead.
But rescue teams were stood down late last night following a CCTV sighting of Olivia at St Pancras railway station in London shortly before 1pm.
Metropolitan Police officers helped Kent Police in their efforts to find the youngster.
But this morning Kent Police confirmed she had been found.
