Firefighters rushed to deal with a mobile trailer alight.
They were called to Calcott Hill, Sturry, following reports of smoke in the area, at 10.38pm yesterday.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Firefighters discovered a mobile trailer on fire.
"Wearing breathing apparatus, they used a high pressure hose reel jet to extinguish the flames."
Two fire engines were called out and crews were at the scene for an hour.
No one was hurt or had to rescued in this incident.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service believes that the trailer was most likely used for storage rather than accommodation.
