A MOTHER and daughter have been found guilty of a campaign of harrassment towards a gay couple.
Karen Reeves, 44, and Christie Myles, 22, both of The Halt in Whitstable, had both denied using homophobic and offensive abuse towards Michael Harris and Shires Crichton of Marley Lane, in Kingston, near Canterbury.
Reeves was warned by magistrates she could face jail when the pair is sentenced on April 24.
Offences included Reeves driving a car at Mr Crichton and Myles filming Mr Harris while unloading a conservatory close to his home last October.
The four-day trial heard that Mr Harris, a probation officer, sought medical and psychiatric help after abuse that left him "unable to cope."
Magistrates told Reeves and Myles their conduct amounted to a campaign of harrassment and that their evidence was not "credible" or "convincing."
