Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash in Broad Oak Road, Canterbury

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after colliding with a car on a busy road.

The crash happened on Broad Oak Road, Canterbury, just before 11am today.

Police and paramedics were at the scene, and a motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital.

It is understood his injuries are not life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a collision involving a car and a motorbike in Broad Oak Road, Canterbury at 10.55am today.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital.”

Broad Oak Road was partially blocked near the junction with Farleigh Road at the time of the crash.
