A motorist has been injured following a collision with a police car on the outskirts of Canterbury.

Officers were called to the scene at Tyler Hill shortly before 2pm today and enquiries are ongoing.

According to police the victim's car and a police car had collided and an ambulance was called.

Paramedics treated her for whiplash injuries.
