Mum and son Susan Patton and Craig Hubbard accused of running cannabis factory in loft of Canterbury home

A mother and son have appeared in court accused of running a cannabis factory in the loft of their home.

Susan Patton, 42, and Craig Hubbard, 21, are suspected of cultivating plants with a street value of up to £26,000.

The pair were arrested on December 1 after police raided a house in Park View, Canterbury.

Cannabis plants were seized and both Patton and Hubbard were charged with producing a class B drug and possessing it with intent to supply.

Appearing before magistrates, both defendants withheld their pleas and were released on unconditional bail.

The case was transferred to Canterbury Crown Court.
