NINE people from the Canterbury and Dover area arrested by police officers investigating the murders of a couple in Cornwall have been released on bail.

Graham and Carol Fisher were shot and beaten at their isolated home on Bonfire Night.

The arrests were made yesterday after a joint operation between the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and Kent Police.

All nine had been detained at Folkestone police station.
