A music festival is set to make a return to the Kent countryside this summer after twice being postponed due to the pandemic.
The FoundTown Festival is being staged in Nash Woods, near Canterbury, over the weekend of July 1.
It will be headlined by local band CoCo and the Butterfields and feature a finalist from ITV's The Voice.
The two-day event will showcase performers across two stages, and offer street food from local vendors, as well as a bar and workshops.
The festival, for which visitors can also camp for the weekend, is being billed as family-friendly with a "mystical lost town" theme, featuring folk music and solo singer-song writers.
On the bill so far are Noble Jacks, Gentlemen of Few, and Samual Ashton, as well as Funke, the Two Tone Baby, JS and the Lockerbillies, Rudy Warman and the Heavy Weathers, and The Lucky 13s, fronted by The Voice finalist Jamie Johnson.
The festival, first held in 2019, was co-founded by Butterfields guitarist and singer Tomas Twyman, and Simon Ness, owner of The Ballroom in Canterbury.
"We’re thrilled to be going ahead with this year's festival after having to delay it for such a long time," said Tomas.
"It will be a brilliant opportunity for us to bring the community together after a difficult couple of years.
"FoundTown will enable myself and the team to help support local musicians and provide a cool and different festival experience.
"After performing for more than 10 years at events all over the country, I noticed there was a distinct lack of live music events for local residents to attend and I want to try and make some progress in placing Canterbury and the surrounding areas as a central music hub.
"Hopefully, I can offer my knowledge and contacts to host a festival, build a brand and put on a fantastic experience for all of the festival- goers which we can grow, year on year."
