A couple were surprised and baffled to come home and find three mysterious peacocks sitting on their kitchen roof.
The birds were found on the roof of a house in Tyler Hill near Canterbury this evening.
The homeowners have never seen the creatures before and were left baffled as to where they came from.
The colourful peacocks have since left the roof, having decided to visit the neighbour's garden instead.
But not before leaving behind a bit of a mess.
The resident said: "We'd been out for a couple of hours and my wife noticed them on our kitchen roof when we got home.
"We're used to magpies and pigeons but not so much peacocks.
"They wandered about a bit and then got bored and went next door.
"They left a couple of impressively sized 'presents' on the roof before flying off - it looks like a dog has been up there..."
Peacocks have a habit in Kent of showing up unannounced.
In 2020, police were called to Deal after a group of four roaming peacocks blocked a road.
The same birds invaded a garage in Deal just days earlier.
And in 2013, one man in Eastchurch said his property has been a magnet to the birds for nearly 10 years.
