PARK Farm Allotment Association in Folkestone is having an open day on Saturday to encourage more keen gardeners to get involved in the pastime.
Existing holders will also be displaying their produce during a competition being held on the day. Once the prizes have been awarded, the produce will be to Age Concern in the town.
The event starts at 12.30pm and will be opened by Sheila Beckingham whose late husband was one of the founder members of the association. She will help judge the classes.
