TV baker Paul Hollywood has put his Grade I-listed medieval home on the market for £795,000.

The Great British Bake Off judge and his wife Alexandra are selling their four-bedroom, 13th century house in Wingham near Canterbury after 12 years.

The couple's stunning home comes with a secluded walled garden and an outbuilding with an office and a garage.

There are period features throughout including oak beams, 15th century arched leaded windows and open fireplaces.

The cobblestones in the cellar are believed to potentially date back to a Roman road.

Despite the age of the building, the historic property has been decked out with modern fittings to complement the period details.

Estate agent Fine & Country's brochure describes the house as “bursting with character” and “one of the oldest private properties in the country”,

The kitchen is well kitted out with all the mod cons for Paul and his wife, who has also written cookery books.

Both Paul, 49 and and Alex, 51 regularly feature their home on their Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The TV star recently shared a photo of himself standing outside the building dressed in a smart suit ahead of the National Television Awards.

His wife also posted a video of Paul making pancakes on the kitchen's range cooker on her Twitter page earlier this month.

The baker reportedly moved out of the house in 2013 following a brief affair with chef Marcela Valladolid, his co-star on US Bake Off spin-off The American Baking Competition.

At the time, he briefly moved into a studio flat not far from the family home, before the couple reconciled later that year.

In an interview with BBC Radio Five Live three years ago, Paul described the fling as the "biggest mistake of his life".

He said: “Actually I still love my wife. We are talking, we are working to get back together again but it's going to take time."
