A COUPLE from Canterbury are due in court next week charged with controlling prostitution for gain.

PE teacher and local sportsman Tim Blake-Bowell, 46, and Emma Blake-Bowell, 35, of Querns Road, Canterbury, have been bailed until their appearance before city magistrates on Wednesday.

Both are alleged to have committed the offence between October 31 and December 14, 2007.

Blake-Bowell is a former teacher at King Ethelbert School, Birchington.
