A pedestrian has received hospital treatment after being hit by a car on a main road.
The man was walking in Wincheap, Canterbury, when he was struck by the vehicle shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.
Eyewitnesses claimed the car involved in the crash was a taxi, but police have not been able to confirm this.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene, and the man was taken to hospital.
The road was shut while emergency services dealt with the incident, but was reopened by about 6.30pm.
The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
