It's been confirmed a person has died after they were hit by a train.
The tragedy happened at Sturry station, near Canterbury.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said the incident, which happened on Friday evening just before 7.30pm, was not being treated as suspicious.
They added: "Officers from BTP and Kent Police attended. Medics from the ambulance service also attended, but the person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"Officers have established the identity of the person and informed their next of kin. A file will be prepared for the coroner."
The train involved was the London St Pancras to Margate service.
Power to the lines was switched off with trains left unable to run between Canterbury West and Ramsgate.
