Whitstable boss Peter Nott is chasing experienced additions to his squad as he aims to ease the club’s injury crisis.
Nott saw his side crash to a 4-1 defeat to Dulwich in Ryman League, Division 1 South on Tuesday, just three days after a 2-1 home defeat to Eastbourne Town.
He has been without seven first-teamers and despite adding keeper Scott Chalmer-Stevens and wideman Ryan Rook in the last week, believes more new faces are needed.
Nott (pictured) said: "We can’t keep thinking we will be OK when the players come back because we have to do a job now. We have some experienced players out and are not coping well. We have been patient waiting for them to come back but we need to do something.
"There are players out there who are low on confidence and they need pulling out and putting in the reserves for a few decent games.
"It’s not good for us to watch people struggling but we are so short of numbers and we were just hoping people would be able to play through it but enough is enough.
"We have already brought in a couple of new faces and need a couple more."
Whitstable are without a game this weekend, which will give players time to recover with Ashley Ulph (knee) and Peter Hawkins (illness) close to returning.
James Simmons and Dan Whisker are sidelined with hip injuries, Keelan Mooney is struggling with shin splints and Louis Smith is out for the season with cruciate ligament damage.
