THE body of a 30-year-old man has been recovered by a specialist police dive team at a lake on a Kent farm.

Police said Zbyneck Vydra, of the Czech Republic, did not surface after diving into the reservoir at Brook Farm at Wingham, near Canterbury, on Wednesday evening.

His body was found by a Sussex Police dive team during an underwater search of the water latre on Thursday afternoon.

Police say Mr Vydra had been part of a group of foreign workers who had been swimming at the lake. They are not treating the death as suspicious.
