A GIRL of 14 who had been missing from home since August 19 has been found safe and well.

Police Officers had issued an appeal after Victoria Hudson, of Rough Common Road, Canterbury, had failed to contact her family and friends for five days.

She was discovered by a police patrol in the city at around 6pm on Thursday.

Police spokesman Michael Ivatt said: "She will be questioned by police regarding her recent whereabouts."
