Police officers swooped in on a suspected cannabis factory in Sturry yesterday.

The raid took place at a house in Park View when officers from the Community Policing Team carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

They seized cannabis plants and equipment allegedly used to help grow the drug.

A 42-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

They have been bailed until December 11.
