Rising pop star Florrie treated city students to an intimate gig at Canterbury College.
The 26-year-old singer popped along to the New Dover Road campus on Monday for the live acoustic session, which was organised by kmfm.
A crowd of 150 students packed the college’s Lanfranc Theatre as Florrie showcased her talents.
She covered George Ezra hit Budapest and sang a number of her own songs, including new single Too Young To Remember, which is released on March 8.
And she proved a hit with those watching, who also had the chance to quiz the star in a 15-minute Q&A session.
Theatre production arts students also helped put on the gig.
Bethan Kesley-Cook and Chloe Hardy assisted with the sound check and PA, while Tom Holton controlled the lighting.
Tom said: “This is a really great opportunity. The three of us have been able to work on a live event, with a real artist and get real experience of the music and entertainment industry.
“Florrie was great too and now that she’s signed to Sony, I doubt she’ll be playing venues of this size for long.”
Florrie – who models for H&M – started her music career as a drummer, playing live and on record for big artists including Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud and the Pet Shop Boys.
She released her own singles before being signed to Sony Music last year.
