PRAYERS will be offered in Canterbury Cathedral today, either side of the two-minute silence held at noon to remember all those killed and injured by the bombings in London a week ago.
The catherdal says everyone is welcome to attend the brief service, which will be held in the Crypt of the Cathedral, accessed from the North side.
Prayers have been offered at every service held in the Cathedral since last Thursday morning for the victims, their families and all affected by the London bombings.
The Cathedral holds at least three services every day and at least five every Sunday. Holy Innocents Chapel has also been set aside as a quiet place for all who wish to pray or reflect on the events of last Thursday.
Millions of people across the country and Europe will observe the two-minute silence.
