Racial abuse shouted at foreign students

DETECTIVES want to speak to anyone with information after racial abuse was shouted at 48 exchange students and eggs thrown at the bus they were travelling on.

Three teenage boys were involved in the incident in Link Road, Sturry, near Canterbury, at about 7pm on Tuesday, October 31.

Further racial comments were made by two of the boys and a girl when the bus returned to Sturry at about 8.45pm.

Two of the boys are white and about 5ft 10ins tall. One is of large build with a round face and was wearing a top with the hood pulled up. T

The girl who joined them later is described as 5ft 5ins tall, with blonde hair tied in a ponytail and of medium build.

The crime is being treated as racially motivated and witnesses are asked to contact Det Con Martin Williams on 01227 868264.
