DETECTIVES are searching for ram-raiders who smashed into the back of the Carphone Warehouse in Sturry Road in Canterbury.

The thieves made their way into the building in the early hours of Saturday morning. It will not be known what was stolen until a stock count has been carried out.

The Escort car in which the raid was carried out had been stolen from the Sturry Road area shortly before the burglary. Police are asking witnesses to contact them on 01227 762055.
