Police are cracking down on drivers using the Brymore Estate in Canterbury as a rat run today.

All vehicles except buses are banned from cutting through the estate from Sturry Road to Military Road during the day.

Canterbury police say today's operation is a response to complaints about motorists persistantly driving through the estate.
