It seemed like an ordinary work day for KMTV reporter Cameron Tucker.
The brief was simple: go to Canterbury and report on the outcome of a cannabis cultivation court case at a thatched cottage.
But as Cameron delivered his "piece to camera" during a live broadcast a man was seen running from the house with a large plant in his hands.
Now the hilarious footage has gone global, with everyone from the South China Morning Post and The Jimmy Kimmel Show in the States featuring a clip or story of the video.
So far the story has also featured in print in The Sun, Metro and The Daily Star, and online on websites including the New York Post, LadBible, Mashable, Yahoo and several British national news websites.

It has also been an item on various TV programmes, including BBC's Newsnight, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, and The Daily Show in the States.
Cameron said he was shocked at the reaction: "The whole thing's completely taken on a life of its own. I've watched Kimmel since my early teens and have been a huge admirer of Trevor Noah for some time so to be a gag in their shows is crazy.
"At first, I thought it would be a clip that would just do the rounds of the KM offices. But then, friends around the country started saying they'd seen it on LadBible or in the Metro and that was pretty bonkers.
"The fact it's gone global is pretty mind-blowing" - Cameron Tucker
"When it got picked up abroad, that got fairly surreal. One of my flatmates is Italian and said her friend from home had told her about the clip, not knowing that she lived with me.
"A best mate from home has written about it in Hong Kong's leading newspaper, friends have said it's been played in Australia and Canada. The fact it's gone global is pretty mind-blowing.
"Also, I want to say that I may have looked composed, but that's nothing on the camera operator, KMTV intern Joe Dawson, or the gallery back at the KMTV Studio, who all kept it together and just looked to put out a strong show."
Check out KMTV's show tonight from 5.30pm, when the team is going to be live there again tonight to see if they can find #PotPlantMan.
